Hi there, and welcome to our 2025 Performance team mini site. For those returning welcome back! For those that are new, Welcome! I’m Yana Dwyer, the owner/Director here, and I’m so excited to share with you what makes TBPA truly unique and special. We’re incredibly proud to have you join our community, and I wanted to personally introduce you to the values, energy, and approach that make our Performance team what it is.

Our Performance team is designed for young dancers who want to take their skills beyond recreational level and train in dancing, singing, acting, and acrobatics. It’s built on community, dedication, and deep friendships, with a team of teachers who are fully invested in each student’s growth

Our Performance team students participate in competitions and events throughout the year, and our goal is to produce confident, driven young artists. We’re here to help them push their limits, explore their individuality, and—most of all—pursue their goals with hard work, dedication, and integrity.

At The Base, our focus is on building strong foundations in every class. This is the framework that allows our dancers to be versatile and sets them up for a long, successful dance journey. But beyond technique, we believe in giving our students the freedom to express themselves artistically. Here, they’re not just learning steps—they’re finding their voice.

In today’s fast-paced world, our students crave more than just dance training—they’re looking for mentorship and guidance. And that’s exactly what we offer. Our team is truly passionate about equipping your child with tools they can use not only in the studio but in life. We emphasise discipline, mindfulness, kindness, resilience, and compassion in every class.

Now, if you’ve been inside our studio, you already know—there’s something special about the energy here. It’s hard not to feel the joy, the excitement, and the passion that flows through our space. Our students and teachers bring so much life to this studio, and we cultivate a place where everyone feels included, welcome, and inspired to keep coming back.
